Diana Dyer Photography has had the privilege of photographing a National Speaker, Dr. Carla Stokes, with the Richmond Schools Event Workshop. She shares health education, self-empowerment and personal development programs for women and teenage girls. Dr. Stokes shares her expertise as a public speaking coach and consulting practice all around the country. 

I also enjoyed photographing the Wernle Childrens home in Richmond IN. during their auction/fundraiser events. During these events we have photographed professional basketball star Tamika Catchings and professional football star Joe Thiesman. What a blessing it is to be a part of something so special. 

We had the special honor of photographing Mark Watson with his created "Flashes of Hope" for Riley Hospital. This fundraiser event brings all of our cancer children together for a day of fun in their princess and pirates outfits. It was such a great feeling to be able to help at this event. 

Let's not forget Breast Cancer Awareness month!  Thank you Theresa for sharing your amazing story with us!  Theresa is a cancer survivor and photographing her weakest moments, means so much to me... 

Fundraisers are fun with Hogs and Hounds, Reeds Hospital, Ivy Tech Tea Party and Pet Adoption month. 

We also did special Covid-19 front porch sessions with High School Seniors, families, Santa and the Easter Bunny.

I never dreamed that I would ever experience meeting Edna Parker, the oldest person in the world at 115 years old in 2008.  Also, Sandra Elaine Allen, the tallest woman in the world at 7 feet and 7 inches tall but I did just that! 

It just so happens, my father did karaoke in a Shelbyville nursing home a few years back. It turns out both Edna and Sandra were there at that time and he had them both up dancing. 

Sandra Allen was featured in the 1976 Guinness World Book of Records and Edna Parker was featured in the 2008 Guinness World Book of Records.  Both Ladies passed away in their Shelbyville nursing home in 2008.
